Site specific installation comissioned by Rinascente. The project redesigns the eight windows overlooking Piazza Duomo and invites people to enter a universe where nature acts as a transformer of elements. Nothing remains the same inside its vortex. The set of installations consist of 8 prototypes of sculptures, which represent fragmented figures of a cotton picker, horse muscles and a tiger, surrounded by dead bushes, trees and, above all, wind. Wind a,ects sculptures and sculptures tend to disappear. This progressive disappearing refers metaphorically to the labor and muscle waste because cotton pickers had historically minimal wages, as well as today. The reference to the double nature of the theme, both historical and contemporary, is made through the very essence of sculptures: some are reconstructions of historical sculptures and some of contemporary ones.
